1. Service Description

Permit Tracker provides organizational tools to help you prepare your residence permit renewal application in Berlin, Germany. Our service includes:

• Personalized document checklists based on your visa type
• Deadline tracking and email reminders
• German email templates for LEA communication
• Secure document storage for your own reference

3. User Responsibilities

By using our service, you agree to:

• Provide accurate information about your visa status and documents
• Verify all information against official LEA sources before submission
• Not rely solely on our templates without reviewing them for your specific situation
• Not use our service for any illegal purpose
• Keep your account credentials secure

4. Service Limitations

We do NOT:

• Guarantee that LEA will accept your application
• Submit applications on your behalf
• Communicate with LEA on your behalf
• Provide guarantees about processing times or outcomes
• Offer refunds for unsuccessful applications (see Refund Policy)

In accordance with EU consumer protection law, you have a 14-day right of withdrawal (cooling-off period) from the date of purchase.

To request a refund within this period:

• Email us at contact@permitracker.com
• Include your purchase email and reason (optional)
• Refunds are processed within 14 business days

After 14 days: Refunds are at our discretion for cases of service malfunction or inability to access your account due to our technical issues.

7. Intellectual Property

All content on Permit Tracker (including German email templates, checklists, and UI design) is owned by us and protected by copyright. You may use the templates for your personal LEA communication but may not redistribute, sell, or commercially exploit them.

8. Data and Privacy

Your data is handled according to our Privacy Policy. Key points:

• Your documents are encrypted and stored in EU data centers
• We do not sell or share your data with third parties for marketing
• You can request deletion of your data at any time

9. Service Availability

We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may perform maintenance with notice when possible. We are not liable for temporary service interruptions.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

• We are not liable for any damages resulting from your use of our service, including but not limited to: visa application rejections, missed deadlines, or incorrect information
• Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the service (€79/year)
• We are not responsible for any actions taken by LEA or other government authorities

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Significant changes will be communicated by email. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

12. Termination

We may terminate your access if you violate these terms. You may delete your account at any time via the dashboard settings.

13. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Austria. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of Vienna, Austria.

For EU consumers: You retain all rights under EU consumer protection law, and these terms do not limit those rights.
